Unfortunately, the GPL often taints other licenses. Changing the license vs dual licensing under the least restrictive version of the LGPL should remove all doubt about using it with FPC and Lazarus for all time.

I really don't like GPL type licenses, if YOU want to develop free code that is up to you but don't force your users to do the same. I have no objections to you including my source + distributing it with Lazarous and/or modifying it. The MPL license is less restrictive than the GPL/LGPL licenses as far as I know so you shouldn't have any problems distributing, I certainly wont sue you for giving away the source I give away. I might if you change the license though ;-)
