My reason for using the Mozilla license was that I wanted people to be able
to use my source free of charge, but did not want to impose my free choice
on users of my source. For example, I am happy for people to write
commercial applications using my components, and I don't mind them modifying
the source + writing their own versions etc. I am aware of a number of
commercial applications that use my DIB controls for example, one of which
is available in my local PC World store. I'd rather see part of my work in
my local shop than have it avoided because of fears that it might mean
either
A: They have to give their product away free of charge / release their
source
B: They have to release any modifications to my DIB controls (which I know
they made) to the rest of the world.
