That's not correct. Even 3.5 ist based on 2.0.
This is a question of of semantics. Some time ago Microsoft said for
the foreseable future all new versions of the .NET framework would
use .NET 2.0 as their core with the new feature sets layered on top
of one another.
So, just like D2 and D2007 both are capable of writing programs for
Win32, and using every API available, the same is true for Delphi for
..NET 2007 and everything based on CLR 2.0. Of course using D2007 to
write for Win32 is much more convenient and generally requires less
"hard work" than using D2 to write the same.
