one party loses a right and another gains which IMHO
should be Ok for CG
So I use my D7 to update to D2007, then sell it to somebody else, who also
uses it to get D2007 at an upgrade price.
Since my right to transfer would be unconditional, it looks like this would
be perfectly valid under the system you propose.
