If I buy a license as an upgrade, I have upgraded a single license.
That means I have no right to transfer the version on which I upgraded.
I may use any of /n/ versions covered by my license, but I may not
transfer any of those versions, unless I transfer all of them. They are
all under the same single license.
Alternately, I could buy a new license -- full product, not upgrade --
and then could transfer the product(s) covered by the prior license. I
suppose at that point, I could either transfer the older versions (all
of them) or only the one, as the new full-product license and the
original license are equivalent. A lawyer could probably argue that
wither way, depending on who paid him. ;)
