I think QC has become a Negative rather than a Positive factor for
Codegear.
When you put a tool like that out there, get (a few) people to
contribute, then ignore reports for years - well what do you expect.
Despite the various comments here about resources, priorities etc., if
you don't have any intention of responding to entries, a tool like this
should never see the light of day. Kind of makes you wonder if this is
just data to be harvested internally when someone wants to support
their own position.
Want to see how a good QC should work? Look at Martijn Tonies system
for his products (Interbase Workbench/ Database Workbench) at
http:tracker.upscene.com
He takes a look at every submission - and his business is much smaller
than Codegear. But it's important to him.
Or look at the system at Ontime.com
The QC market has long run away from what Codegear is doing with it.
