While I don't doubt that there are at least some number of users that feel similar to you, I *do* doubt it is anything near a majority or even a *significant* minority.
While my sample size was miniscule, of those Delphi developers I have asked an overwhelming majority do agree with Patrick.
Already burned by past experiences of with QC, the large number of reports not showing any resolution (not even a "fixed in the new shiny version but not in the version you bought!" message) doesn't inspire any enthusiasm to retry QC rather than Google Groups.
BTW - I tried to put myself in the position of a newcomer who is trying find the solution to a problem which looked like a bug (and I doubt "Quality Central" be the first thing a newcomer would think to look for?)
