It was criticism, no matter how you call it. And actually you criticize Joanna or Paul for stating their opinions, instead of ruthless Pro-Delphi-Blabla.
So this lost sale, you spoke of, could be interpreted the other way around: One who might not wasted money and time on a system, that wasn't the best choice for him.

Joanna's TeamB role, was to promote C# builder, the thinging that got killed only recently. (and kind of rightly so, IMO)
So her preference towards C# might not be because she is an evil MSFT-paid mole...
