Alessandro, listen to me. I've lived in PA (Pittsburgh) for most of my life. I say most because I traveled quite a bit doing contract work in the past.

Take some time to think seriously about moving to PA. The people are nice but the weather and the politics will kill you.

Hey, it could be worse, you could be in Cleveland, OH. Those drunken depressed people in Pittsburgh are from the overflow from Cleveland.
We never get to see the boom, and seem to be in perpetual bust, we get the lake effect snow which looks so serene nestled on all the 'for sale' signs in every other yard. My house is worth almost as much as what I bought it for 5 years ago. To boot, we have a tax hungry local government, with another 0.25% increase recently added for a 'medical mart' we'll never see. We have one of the highest sales taxes in the country and we are the poorest largest city in the country (ummm, wonder if they are related), as well as having a lousy murder rate. We must have more drunks than you and it seems they like to get liquored up on local election day.

I love Pittsburgh, my wife and her family are from there, and I used to live in Ligonier PA but there were no Delphi jobs (even in Pittsburgh) so we moved. I think Pittsburgh has the most fantastic skyline as you come out of the tunnels compared to Clevelands which consists of a single skyscraper, an empty bag of Doritos blowing down the street and a handful of bums looking for spare change.

However, I know what you mean, Pittsburghers can be a funny lot sometimes. I should know, I married one.
