Re: Delphi developer job request... Best places to post one?

If Delphi market is so tight (and it is), I wonder why
CodeGear is still investing a lot of money in it. The company
must have been getting paid somehow.

That said, I would really hate to see Delphi go away. Though
I have been developing most of my application in C# lately,
I still use Delphi to maintain other applications.

It is amazing when sometimes good technology doesn't catch up.
Recall OpenVMS, a very stable operating system, I doubt it,
if there is any job opening for it.

But according to reviews on this page BDS 2007 is said to be
great. Moreover, it was a smart move that C# Builder was
removed from it.

One thing though, I would not use Delphi for .NET to write
any .NET application (of course, show me the $$). However,
I would upgrade any of my Delphi Win32 application as long
as the "almighty" Delphi remains, and continue to evolve.

You could try www.delphijobs.com or www.dice.com. Hotjobs is another.
Monster isn't everything.

I should warn you things are tight in the Delphi market though. Finding
developers is tough and relocating them is even worse given the current Real
Estate market in the US. Pulling them out of CA or FL will be virtually
impossible.

I recently posted a message on delphi.jobs and I only got few responses.
I was wondering if you guys know any good site or forum where Delphi
developers check for jobs.
I am trying to stay away from Monster or ultra expensive sites like that.

Thanks,
Alessandro Federici
