WAKE UP CodeGear!!!!!!
Forget .Net and focus on linux and web.

Stories of organizations switching to Linux make for interesting news
bites, but they're not generally a good basis for sweeping business
decisions by other companies.

Plus, details need to be known about specific situations.

For example, are they moving to linux because all their apps are now web
based and thus the underlying system doesnt matter much? If thats the case,
thats not so much 'moving to linux', as it is 'moving to web-based apps',
and doesnt really help codegear.

On the other hand, if they're going to pay to have all their apps re-written
for linux, thats an entirely different story.

Also, while the media will never do this because they generally have the
attention span of a gnat, we need to follow up in a year or two to find out
if they really 'moved to linux' or not. Saying, and doing, are two very
different things.
