And the price of Delphi, in comparison, is a bargain. IMHO, I would be a fool of the highest level to abandon Delphi for VS simply based on the purchase price.
Don't go silly and change the subject, this has nothing to with VS, purchase price or otherwise, it has to do with price increases of Windows and Delphi. You had asked a question that insinuated large increases in the price of Windows:
