Try to leverage JAVA based technologies in .NET and you will have to rewrite the whole thing again in .NET that is pure donkey labor and nothing creative at all.
Rewrite *why*? Because you couldn't find an Java to .NET translator, or J# didn't fit your needs, or because Java and .NET simply are incompatible?
I agree that often it's nice to use some code as-is, not only for legacy reasons, but also because e.g. a library was written and still is maintained in another language. Provided that the languages fit together at all, like C++ and Delphi in RAD studio, you have the tool you're dreaming of. But not all langages are compatible (combineable) in this way.

..NET is out of my criteria for any serious development... Of course where I work I have to manage a team of 8 developers who are programming in ASP.NET exclusively... But I personally do not use .NET for any of my projects nor will I use in near future.
Finding JAVA to .NET translator is not the point here. There is an implementation .NET which can host and execute 100% JAVA apps in .NET apps without a hitch. But this is not my point.
Diverse languages will allow people knowing only that language to unite under one project without any overheads.....
Delphi and C++ Builder are combinable but try to add a C++ Builder module to a Delphi Win32 personality and see what happens.
