Since this industry is famous for recyclying/rediscovering old new
ideas, I look forward in a few years to an announcement of a solution to
"Framework HELL".... I anticipate it will be something that involves
applications loading only specific, required libraries dynamically
rather than requiring an entire, (essentially) monolithic runtime
framework.
Dynamically Linked Libraries.... hmmm, catchy. Now if only we could find
a neat little acronym to call them by....
