There's some kind of tax that prevents Borland (here they haven't

This doesn't sound right.

I know for a fact that that you can purchase SA for 2 licenses as I
renewed that recently.

Maybe it's a regional thing?

Its probably regional as I got 1 SA license.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm in Brazil. The land of "Oba Oba" :-)
So yes it's a regional thing.

Anyway, after reading some SA facts, I am wondering if I'm just better the way I am. Buying the version when I really need it. So far I'm using D5 and D7. I have upsized most of my D5 projects to D7, and my users are very happy (mostly components changes from D5 version. D7 has more of the XP look. Some bug fix. But it's impressive how the looks makes the whole appication "run better" according to the user POV which really matters!!!)
I hope to finish the upsize by july. So I must choose very carefully which IDE will be D7 successor. D2007 seems the right one, but now, with the unicode thing.. and later with the Commodore-64.. Brought back some good memories!

Its to soon (at least for me) to pick D2008 or D2009. Both have very important features and worth the upgrade from the one to the other. That's why I would consider SA.
