Book recommendations for database development

Hi,
are there any good books which cover all aspects of writing database
applications in Delphi (currently using Turbo Delphi Pro)?
I know Bob Swart has put his "Delphi for Win32 VCL Database Development"
into Lulu but from what I've read from the table of content it seems there
are not so many examples especially dealing with client datasets or using
data aware controls - but I may be wrong here ;-)
So, are there other good articles online or books you would recommend? I'm
of course familiar with database queries and other things, so this is not
only a question how to retrieve or manipulate data or even creating tables,
but I would like to get some insights on how others are writing DB
applications with SQL servers or client databases like embedded Firebird.
I'm interested in how is user data entered in the front-end, using DB aware
controls or perhaps just plain VCL controls? How is the input validated
before sending them to the RDBMs etc....
Thanks for your hints/comments!
