Delphi late to the Win64 party

As predicted by many of us in the pro "do it now" win 64 compiler camp, they are predicting this fall PC season to be when 64bit is the norm on most computers. I believe many of us where saying no later then 2010. We were a year off. I hope the next version of Delphi doesn't take 18 months to 2 years to get out the door. Delphi is becoming more irrelevant every quarter. Too bad as I think it is a superb development environment.
