A while back I needed a second sound card for a project. I bought an
inexpensive Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 PCI. From messages I read it
is better to use that card than a "SB Live" card if you are wanting a
second card. From my research when installing two sound cards it is
better to use two completely different brands so the drivers are separate.
I did find two professional sound cards, and I think they both support
multiple cards in a system:
Go to this page and then click on VX222:

This company has the CardDeluxe:

Both cards are sold by:
http://www.bswonline.com
Click on "Digital Audio Recording" on the left under "Product
Categories". Then select "Production Hardware".
If you want to see lots of pretty graphs of measurements of the card:

The card has balanced outputs at -10 or +4.
Hope this is of some help.
