Ed,
It sounds pretty clear to me. It says "The Pro Parts" of KbmMemTable. Maybe
you didn't experience this, because you won it rather than
downloaded/purchased it, but on the KbmMW website, if you want to get
KbmMemTable in the pro version, you download the free 'standard' memtable,
and then you additionally download the 'pro' part as an additional download.
It is the source for this additional download that is covered by the clause
you refer to.
All Kim is doing is protecting the IP for the commercial extensions to his
free 'standard' KbmMW memtable, which he provides you with the source for
and which includes various algorithms to improve the speed and performance
of the KbmMemTable.
