I'll reply here because I doubt you will find many people who have tried
both tools in depth, in my experience people evaluate both for a few days
and then pick the tool they prefer.

Finalbuilder provides far better integration with most tools than that of
visual build, has better scripting facilities and (imho) a easier to use
interface. Of course I'm biased (as you would expect), so I can only suggest
you check both tools out (both have evaluation versions available) and
decide for your self.
