Anyone with Synedit experience?

Hi,
I need some help with synedit.
basicly I want the autocompleteproposal to pop when the user types a few
letters and then pauses.
I am try to make a SQL editor for internal use at our company.
I have it working doing a ctrl space and . but for SQL you really need the
timer pause thing.

I did notice there is a usertimer property, but it does not seem to do
anything.

I am using the CVS version by the way.
