    We're happy to announce that ThemeEngine version 4.06 just released.

    ThemeEngine is a library of components which allows to change visual appearance and behavior of your application with use of the powerful set of tools including visual components, convenient designers, easy-to-use non-visual components, the optimized graphic algorithms and a set of ready themes. ThemeEngine can add themes to forms, to the menu and to the elements of the management.

    Features:

    + Complete support of visual styles for MS Windows XP (msstyles). The necessary theme is easily chosen among the thousand ones available on the Internet (www.themexp.org). ThemeEngine can save these themes in the compiled application.
    + The theme format of its own and the set of ready themes which are delivered with the product and can be used in the application without any restrictions.
    + The themes built-in in the application, such as OfficeXP, Flat
    + The opportunity of the generation of the modified themes both in the editing mode and in the performance mode, by changing the brightness and the contrast of the ready themes.
    + The changing of the appearance of the application both in the performance mode and in the designing mode.
    + The complete support of standard appearance. It is possible to disconnect themes at any time and to get the interface of a standard kind. Besides if the applications with the switched-off themes are started in Windows XP the appearance won't differ from the standard one because ThemeEngine is able to use uxtheme.dll.
    + The storage of the themes in the compiled project allows to distribute one exe-file with a number of themes.
    + The opportunity to create new and to modify ready themes with the help of ThemeEditor.
    + The open interface for creation of the theme-file format of its own by programming filters. For example using this opportunity it is easy to forbid to use your themes in other applications written with use of ThemeEngine.
    + ThemeEngine allows to use more than one theme in your application, so that you can receive a very beautiful and interesting interface.
    + The emulation of the open, understandable and properly described MS ThemeAPI (uxtheme.dll) easily allows to add ThemeEngine support to your own components or the components of other developers.
    + ThemeEngine includes an easy-to-use non-visual component which can automatically adjust the TColor properties of any components, depending on the loaded theme. In this way you can easily adapt any components to the new interface.
    + About 70 groups of various animation effects with thousand possible combinations that can be used both with ThemeEngine components and in your own development.
    + ThemeEngine supplements to standard forms such new features as: gravitation, additional system buttons, minimizing in the system tray, the adjusted system menu, new styles, animation, buffering and many other things.
    + ThemeEngine contains all necessary components from the standard palette and besides it contains a big set of additional components.
    + The open interface allows to develop easily additions to ThemeEngine. Some of them are developed by us and are available for free use, such as DBAware, FXControls, SynEdit for ThemeEngine, TBX for ThemeEngine, etc.
    + The tool for converting projects, allows to add quickly and easily the theme support to your application .
    + The complete support MDI of the interface, both for the main form and for MDI clients.
    + Completely compatible with all versions of Windows 95/98/2000/XP/Me and NT 4.0 without necessity of using COMCTL32.DLL
