(SaveObject(s) to .txt file)... is there a VCL?

Hi !
Trying to find an easier (simpler) way to make an object from one program available to another Delphi program.
Thread started in 'Items in borland.public.delphi.students'
 as 'calling an .exe from button click'
Does anyone know of a component that helps with this?
