freeware editor with hyperlink possibilities?

Hello all,

I'm looking for an editor component (rtf or just
plain ascii) that will allow me to insert hyperlinks.
Not just WWW hyperlinks, but generic hyperlinks that
can be parsed from a Delphi program when the user
clicks on them.

The purpose is to write a cardfile program with hyperlinks
between cards.
