Ah, must be monitor settings. I just looked really close with a magnifying
glass, and I can make out the grid lines, a shade lighter as you said, but
when I sit back about 18 inches away, without the magnifier, they aren't
perceptible to me. Of course, the 50 year old eyes may have something to do
with it. Hey, maybe we just found one instance where aging vision actually
proves to be advantageous! :^)
At any rate, I agree that dark text on a light background is a more
comfortable read.
