Hello there,
Here's what I am trying to do.
A friend of mine has lots of videos he's created when he's been on holiday
and some of his other friends want to watch them so he's requested that I
develop some software where they can connect to him and then he can stream
the video to them into the application. (I will be developing both
applications for this).
So far I am seriously drawing a blank. My first ray of hope was opening the
file as TFileStream and then sending that through TCP/IP using Indy etc But
then comes the problem, how on earth do you view a file in mid-stream?
If any one has code that would allow me to send a stream from one computer
to another and view it as its streaming, I would be willing to purchase it
off you.
I have looked at the ASTA suite but that was just way to expensive for what
I wanted. I also looked into the Real Networks SDK but this is just pure C++
and hasnt been converted to Pascal that I know of.
Regards
Anthoni
PS: I have Goggled and all i can find is a way to stream in from web cams /
tv capture cards and then send the stream out, but this is not what I want.
