ANN: MySQLDirect .NET Data Provider 2.30 Released

Core Lab company has recently released new 2.30 version of MySQLDirect .NET
Data Provider, 100% managed full-featured .NET data provider for direct
access to MySQL server for the Microsoft .NET Framework.
Data provider can access MySQL server either using native MySQL network
protocol directly or through MySQL client library.

New version provides support for MySQL 5.0. Stored procedures support
now added for MySQL 5.0 and also prepared statements supported for
MySQL 4.1.1 and MySQL 5.0.
Professional version functionality was extended with new components
MySqlLoader for loading external data into the MySQL database and
MySqlDump to store a database or its parts as a script and also
to restore database from the received script.
To validate open connection new MySqlConnection.Ping method was added.
New component MySqlDataSourceControl for extended WebMatrix support
is available with the new provider version.

The provider offers advanced design-time editors, ability of monitoring
query execution, integrated database explorer for browsing database
schema and manipulate database objects and MySQLBuilder tool for visual
building queries. Easy migration from ODBC and OLE DB .NET Data Providers
with Migration Wizard. MySQLDirect .NET package includes set of sample
projects to demonstrate using provider features.

MySQLDirect .NET supports MySQL server version 5.0, 4.1, 4.0 and 3.23.
The provider works both with .NET Framework 1.0 and 1.1 versions,
and can be used with Visual Studio .NET 2003, Visual Studio .NET 2002,
Borland Delphi 8, Borland C#Builder 1.0 and Microsoft ASP.NET Web Matrix.

MySQLDirect .NET can be also used together with UniDirect .NET data
provider,
