Well if you spend months working with blood, sweat and tears on a component
and just know it is top of the bill, you simply want to get paid for that.

So I fully agree to ask a reasonable price (and this is often a couple of
hundred dollars/euros). If developers start to whine and complain about
that: fine, then they are just in bad luck and simply don't get my
component. I don't care if they then go sourceforge and struggle along with
a half-finished unsupported pile of units from a free "alternative".
