Hi Pete,

are you referring to Pro-Analyzer by Automation Sciences?

Their product is a source code analyzer which produces reports and
documentation about your source code. It has some features like static code
optimization - sort of like Delphi's own optimizer where it points out
variables that are not used, etc.

AQtime, on the other hand, is a performance profiler and memory debugger. In
other words, AQtime deals (mostly) with compiled applications rather than
with source code.
As a profiler, it can detect what parts of your app run slowly (that's a
drastic simplification).
As a memory debugger, it can track memory leaks, etc.

As far as common ground, AQtime 4.1 does offer a UML Sequence Link Diagram
"profiler" which generates a UML sequence diagram from a static analysis of
your application. That seems to be the only kind of functionality these two
tools share.
