Paul,
   I fear from my email "conversations" of a few months back that the
picture is not good. It looks like the classic vicious circle.
There has been insufficient interest to warrant heavy commitment.
And, of course, with no evidence of commitment, there is not going to
be an increase in interest. I too feel badly let down.

   In the meantime, however, had you appreciated that the SQL beta is
embedded in the supplied PDXplorer? I have actually found it to be
entirely useable. It must be a reasonably stable beta. In fact
PDXplorer and the SQL contained therein are the only bits I use.
Without development or enthusiastic and timely support, using the
tables themselves in mainstream code would be an unacceptable risk.
I have a suspicion from the odd trial that the code needs tweaking to
speed up table accesses etc. However, as I say, the supposed freebie
PDXplorer has proved itself very useful and generally robust.

   A serious case of unfulfilled promise, apparently. However, I
live in hope that it will rise from the ashes one day.
