Please *do* be aware of a little thing: Firebird Embedded won't
allow you to have more than ONE instance of an application using one
database file. Thus, if for whatever reason you need to run multiple
instances on the same computer pointing to the same database, you
ought to go with the full fledged server.
Apart from that, I fully second this choice.
