Hello Peers,

I'm not used to speak badly about someone, but this one really isn't a
"happy user" story.

Prologue: I bought Delphi 6 in 2002 and I'm sticking with it.
These days, I've been playing around with the shipping VsSpell
component in the ActiveX palette tab.

Several days ago, I posted a question on their newsgroups:
"
Hello.

I purchased a regular Delphi 6 Enterprise and there seems to be no
dicutil.exe . I assume it's not shipping out of the box, right? :-)

Second thing: the component on the palette reports to be
version 2, but I assume VSSpell is a bit older than it seems
since Delphi 6 first appeared in 2002, so... is that right?
Is there any upgrade policy with Delphi customers?

TIA,

Andrew
"

Now, the message seems reasonable to me. I've been surfing their
pages for a while before posting the message, but I couldn't be
able to make up my mind about was in and out of the bundle in the
Delphi distribution.

Plus, since a few years had passed since D6 shipped, I
wanted to make sure there was some kind of upgrade policy.

To this day, from Oct. 9th, I got no answer.

No answer *whatsoever* .

Just wanted to share.

Andrew
