I need to synchronize 2 directories on separate computers, these directories
contain 4.7 gig of data in 21,718 files in 230 directories. The network
connection speed is over a cable modem. The file system is shared through a
remote desktop running over a cable modem.

A simple copy would work the first time, but after that I wish to only copy
changes.

A version control system might work but I do not want to have to install that
software on our server if I do not have to.
