Lee,
   John was being humorous. If his foreign language skills were as
good as yours, I would have been amused.
        
His humour was based on your use of the word "revised", meaning
modified or changed, rather than "resolved" (or possibly "removed")
which in the context of a bug usually means cleared or fixed.

Unfortunately, all too often with bugs, revised is probably an
appropriate word - but, I am sure not in this case.
