    Hi,

I'm thinking of purchasing IP*Works but searching via google some people
seem to be put off by the way the product is licensed. It appears that if
you buy the non red carpet version you can only use it on one workstation
only. I came across a posted response from IP*Works themselves who seemed to
suggest that you can use it on more than one workstation and that their
product activation to tie to one workstation only is to eliminate piracy.
This sounds reasonable to me but I'd like to hear some real world comment
regarding their licensing model. Do they allow you to activate on work
laptop/ home desktop for instance or was the IP*works posting just sales
    talk?
I would hate to buy the product on the understanding of being able to
activate on both desktop and laptop only to find that you then get a
licensing agreement quoted stating that you bought a single workstation
    licence only.

    Thanks,
    Steve
