Kim,
The issue was not so much whether it 'worked' in the sense that it had
functionality, but how to leverage that functionality to achieve the results
one wanted.
Sure it was working, but the people who seemed to be getting the best
results from it were the people believing in the school of thought 'the
source code is the documentation'.
It was not always straightforward.
That said, I haven't used the latest version (2.5?), things change (the
documentation may well be better), and it may well be a whole new ball game.
I certainly don't want to put anyone off your product which I am sure is an
excellent choice. And the more products thrive in the marketplace, the
better for each of us. People should evaluate it for what the product is
like now, rather than what it was like for me or Mike.
But I was simply expressing some frustrations I had when using the product,
mainly because Mike obviously experienced many of the same frustrations. If
the product has moved on and responded to these, I think that's great.
