3rd party build programs, installers and Code Rush info needed

This post is in referene to the thread "How do 3rd party build programs help
you?" but it's a bit different so I started a new one.

How does this work in conjunction with installation tools (InstallShield for
example) and something like CodeRush. Is there any overlap on the three
tools? Or does FinalBuilder deal with completely separate issues? It seems
like at least with installation tools there might be some overlap but this
is all very new to me. I thought what Pat did, that F9 was enough (well I
knew it wasn't really enough, but close anyway). now there's this whole
world of tools that help you create a build/installation/.... that I didn't
realize were necessary. If you buy an installer, code rush and a builder
you've dropped in the neighborhood of $1500 for one license each. How much
of that is really useful. I'm not opposed to spending the money, I just want
to understand this a bit better. The feature matrix for final builder seems
like it covers some of the things in Code Rush and also in an installation
tool. But maybe I just don't know the topics well enough yet.

Thanks,

Keith
