That is relevant, for example if it was written by the chief architect of
AbsoluteDatabase (which received the highest score), because it is
supposedly independent. If it is not, then the tests could be designed
to favor particular products.
I think what is more relevant however is whether the results are correct.
I have not seen that disputed anywhere. Have you?
