That font uses character (glyph) description written in encoded
postscript language. (PS is more complicated than usual PDF text and
graphics) It also uses a certain technique to improve the display of
the text (hinting). Some applications embed this kind of character
description instead of the original font - WPViewPDF can now handle
this if the original names are still used and the font information
includes enough data and of course, a TTF font with a matching name is
installed.
But unfortunately in some PDF files the names were stripped (converted
to "T0000xxx" -then there is no obvious way to find a substitution
font. This seems to happen when PS files are converted to PDF.
