ANN: Introducing Hydra 2.0 for Delphi

RemObjects Software is pleased to announce that Hydra 2.0 for Delphi is now
available.

Hydra is the ideal plugin framework for your RemObjects servers or desktop
applications, making them easier to develop, maintain and deploy. With a
plugin framework you can partition your systems in separate components and
assemble them based on your needs. This allows, for instance, to deploy a
system progressively or update its functionality when needed.


NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 2.0

- Hydra Control Repository, menu and toolobar controllers: use these new
components to configure and modify host toolbars and menus using standard
VCL, Developer Express or Toolbar 2000.

- THYAutoUpdateClient component: use this component to create client
applications that download updates from a remote server like Windows
Autoupdate.

- HYAutoUpdateService: RemObjects service which includes all basic
functionality to create services that provide updates to the clients listed
above.

- THYDirectoryManager component and uFileUtils.pas unit: these component and
unit contain a variety of classes for easy manipulation of files and
directories.
