Yes I have read these recommendations. I am just wondering if anyone has had
a positive experience with a particular fax-modem model to send faxes all
over USA.
My system returns "Bad response from modem" error when it is negotiating
with a remote fax machine. I can see that it happens after status window has
shown "Getting connection params" and then "Got called-station ID". This
error reliably repeated at the particular fax numbers (fax machines),
whereas faxes to other numbers path through well
