As you may know, the component palette in 2005 is very different from
D7 and earlier. It is (superficially) more like CompBAR, but only
superficially. I like CompBAR better and I hope someone makes a 2005
version. But, the component palette in 2005 also has additional
functions. Such as when no project is open, it changes to a new
project tool. And when doing .NET, it allows selection of .NET
components. So, I suppose that someone could make CompBAR for 2005,
but it would be an adjunct rather than a replacement. Or, the
additional functions might could get added to it so that it could be a
full replacement.
