I am about to dump QR, and was seriously looking at FastReport. It seemed to have what I needed, including an end user report designer for a reasonable price.

What I thought I'd do was rewrite my reports into FreeReport, and then if that turned out okay, upgrade to FastReport to get the extra features. Now after this discussion, I'm wary that this will be two rewrites instead of one. Got any advice on this?
