We have closely studied your inquiry and your problem.

Sorry for delay!

Problems in that you use BCB it is not revealed.

But!
As appeared, you used not documentary opportunity (script variables
should not be inserted into brackets. See page 65 of FastReport Users
Guide.) in your reports.
In version 3.16 this opportunity (it is not documentary, is not
standard, guaranteed, etc.!) is absent.
It is natural, that reports in which you used this opportunity, now
can work incorrectly.
All reports created according to requirements of documentation
FastReport work correctly.
