I got it to compile in D2005 and am using it just fine. I put a
separate copy of it in my BDS 3.0 directory and compiled it there.
Although you could probably just use the same copy and set the DCU
directory to a separate D2005 dir. Save a copy of the project/package
file as DCPdelphi9. Also, change the internal name to DCPdelphi9. I
also added:

{$WEAKPACKAGEUNIT ON}

to the package file.
