I agree with you but programming style of component author is very important
for Delphi market.
The functionality is very important too, of course, but components are not
standalone-application which we need run a few times to do some task. The
components must be easy in use/programming for their projects.
As I see, the only one way is to provide some (other) freeware components
from same site. So developers can download and check the sources for
freeware before order (shareware components).
As alternative, you may include in trial package a lot of demo projects. Not
just drop a few components in IDE on form but to show the programming style
in code of sample. But this is possible not for any component, of course...
But to provide the sources for shareware in trial is no good idea IMHO.
