I don't remember having to compile anything. Perhaps this has changed
with the new version (which I don't have yet).

Concerning the Flat property, I agree, it's much nicer than the default
3D display, though it isn't completely flat. However, I personnaly
prefer it that way, and would not want it to be flatened out completely.

The data cells can also be made 3D if you want (as well as the footer
cells), by using the corresponding option in OptionsEh.

I agree, some of the properties are a bit quiky (e.g the
PickList/KeyList) but the learning curve isn't that steep, and I've
been very satisfied with it.
