I'm not expert in this area but from this discussion I see that any socket
server in Windows can't keep more than 64K connections.

Personally I don't believe that this is true. Can anybody show me the note
about this limit in IIS or MS SQL or Oracle etc At least I checked the
specifications now and there is no such limit.

PS: I'm interested in this topic only as database-related. If db-server (on
Windows platform) can't process the >64K connections, this is no good but I
never saw any warning for this...
