As general rule... if you need zip code-related data, you have to buy it
from the USPS (or one of their resellers).
Even the US Census Bureau no longer provides post office names, boundary map
coordinates, or map images for US Postal codes (as of 2000). The TIGER data
(Census Bureau) does include zip code tablulation areas
(http://www.census.gov/geo/ZCTA/zcta.html). These summarize data by its'
5-digit zip code. They also have Latitude and Longitude coordinates for the
census tracts.
So you could, with a little math, find the locus of zip codes within a
specific radius. But that's no guarantee that any of them are directly
adjacent.
