Thanks for doing this. I do have the following error when I tried it:

Internal Error: Expression error 'Runtime Error (at 44: 1818):
External exception EEDFADE

This error occured towards the end of the installation while running initdb.

WinXP Pro, PostgresSQL 8.1.2-1

You have to install as a admin user, did you do that?

Was there a existing postgres user already on the system?

Also did you select a certain local and or encoding?

Did it create the data dir?

I will create a section on my forums for more discussion.

I have installed it a 100 times, but I always use the defaults :-)
